Why the Department Exists
FGMC developed its education ministry in response to the need for quality Christian education and the protection, formation and advancement of children and young people within the Mission and surrounding communities.
Historical Foundation
The work grew from a social centre at Muyuka and the development of schools and training institutions. The Mission pursued formal authorization for its education work from the 1990s and established a national Education Secretariat for pedagogic, administrative and financial coordination.
Mandate
- Provide strategic and administrative leadership for FGMC schools.
- Promote spiritual, moral and academic excellence.
- Support pedagogic supervision and teacher development.
- Strengthen school infrastructure, governance and child protection.
